  • In order to be self-certified, copies of the Partnership Agreement or Memorandum of Association MOA, as applicable, and Articles of Association AOA are required.


  • The applicant's PAN card must be self-attested as part of the application process


  • It is the company's responsibility to self-certify the GST registration certificate in order for it to be valid


  • The Directorate of Industries must issue a self-attested certificate if the candidate exports manufactured spices


  • Copy of the CEO's passport

Spice Board Registration Importance

If you are a manufacturer or merchant dealing with the spice trade, you must obtain a legitimate Certificate of Registration from the Spice Board or your business will not be allowed to operate. If a person is engaged in the business of exporting spices before the enactment and if he applies for such a credential within the three-month period before the disposition of the proposal with respect to such application, then the applicant is eligible.

Spice Exporter's Certificate of Registration Process

Here are the steps to obtaining your Spice Exporter Registration Certificate (CRES).

  • To submit Form 1 to Spices Board, Ernakulam, the applicant must include any applicable taxes along with the recommended fees.

  • The manufacturer exports at a rate of $15,000. 

  • Mercantile Exporter: 10000/-

  • An application that is not properly submitted or contains incomplete data may be rejected by the board.

  • An applicant's financial certificate or reference from the bank should precede the application 

  • If the regulating authority finds everything correct, it will receive Form A from the applicant informing them of exporting.

Spice Exporter's Certificate of Registration restored

In the case of a block time frame, the registration certificate is valid for three years. Those who wish to renew their Exporter Certificate must fill out Form-1 and submit it to the authority. They must also be liable each month for failure to do so. Spice Board registration renewal fees will be the same as new application fees beginning in 2018.


Additionally, exporters who fail to renew their licenses must reapply for registration and license after the expiration of their credentials.


In addition, it is offered for exporters that do not conduct export business while holding a certificate; in these cases, renewal is not considered.


A new certificate can be obtained from the Spices Board if an exporter enters into an export agreement.
